SHIP has been so fortunate to receive support from numerous organizations in the community. SHIP also works in coordination with a number of agencies and organizations that serve families and youth. These partnerships are crucial to the success of the organization. Below are just a few of the many key partners SHIP works with.
United Way of Frederick County
Provides funding and advocacy support for the New Horizons counseling program for homeless youth.

Provides scholarships for our New Horizons Academy summer students.

Many of these organizations are members of the Frederick County Coalition for the Homeless which identifies the needs of our county’s homeless, advocates for resources and coordinates services to meet these needs. SHIP is proud to be a member of the Coalition. Together we pool our resources and time to make it easier for our students to receive the support and services they need to move out of homelessness and into a more stable living situation.
