With Summer coming to an end, our students are gearing up to start their 2026-2027 school year. While students are moving into their dorms, seniors are taking their portraits, and kindergartners are picking out their first backpacks, we know many of our students experience a variety of different challenges.
Here is a word from our student, Teresa:
“Throughout high school, I have grown through challenges that required me to become independent at a young age. Those experiences strengthened my determination, self-reliance, and commitment to my education and future goals.
As a recent high school graduate preparing to begin college this fall, I am proud of the resilient, honest, and compassionate person I have become. I’ve learned to navigate life’s challenges with determination and grace, advocate for myself, and continue moving forward even when the path has been uncertain.
Over the past year, I’ve grown not only through academics but also through life experiences that have built my strength, independence, and perspective. I continue to reflect, learn, and challenge myself to become the best version of who I can be.
As I begin this next chapter, I’m excited for the opportunities ahead and grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way. Here’s to continued growth, new experiences, and pursuing my goals with confidence.”
